Nike’s Swoosh and Jordan Brand’s Jumpman could be on NBA uniforms beginning in 2017.

According to a report by Terry Lefton of Sports Business Daily, Nike and NBA have “the framework for a deal” in place that would not only put the sports gear maker in charge of producing all of the league’s uniforms but also open the door for each brand to advertise its respective logo on those uniforms.

Air Jordan 11LAB4 Black On Feet

April 17th, 2015 By

On-feet photos of sneakers are always of help, especially with kicks on the louder side of things like the Air Jordan 11LAB4. You just never know from stock photos how they’ll play actually in use. Back in 1995, when this shoe’s mentor Air Jordan XI was born, a lot of folks flipped when they saw the patent leather on Michael Jordan‘s feet. But when they headed into their local Champs Sports, a few opinions changed. Credit cards and cash were placed back into pockets. Why? Patent leather goes to 11, to reference Nigel Tufnel. It’s full blast flashy all the time and some people can’t or don’t want to deal. However, the patent is right in the wheelhouses of others, the more the merrier. And the 11LAB4 is in that category, and that’s where most people are given the overwhelming popularity of the XI. Whichever side you fall on the patent leather sneaker spectrum, this one is coming at you on April 25th for $225. Find some more looks below and we’ll have more updates on the way.

Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” Official Release Info

April 17th, 2015 By

The Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” has carried that nickname from the earliest leaked photos of the shoe. But the Nike product description takes a different tack on the colorway: “The black upper features pops of Court Purple, Bright Citrus and Light Retro inspired by what these April showers bring.” So, Nike’s saying May flowers are the theme, not Bugs Bunny‘s gal and not Hare Jordan related. That’s not the only thing officially different about this release – it’s been bumped from this Saturday, April 18 to Friday, April 24. Check the official Nike images below and stay tuned for more coverage here at Jordans Daily.

And fans will get another look at the 13 Low when the “Bred” colorway shows up on shelves on June 13. Air Jordan 11LAB4 Could Make You Cancel The Tux Shoes

April 16th, 2015 By

Maybe it’s not quite ready to be an official worldwide-accepted replacement for tuxedo shoes but the Air Jordan 11LAB4 tap dances pretty close to the threshold. After all, Michael Jordan in a moment of prescience once said Air Jordan XI, the iconic sneaker responsible for the 11LAB4’s patent leather looks, would be worn with tuxes and other formal wear (and that’s happened plenty in the 20 years since XI debuted, weddings included). Does that dressy quality transfer to this AJ4 as the gent in these photos seems to suggest? Only you can decide that but with the white midsole strip and rubber traction being the only attributes here that don’t drip with Armor All gloss, it’s a safe bet that this shoe will see a some prom dance floors in May. And it arrives just on time ahead of prom month on April 25th. Take a closer look here and then you can get working on the etiquette of tucking your tux pants to let the Jumpman tongue shine.
