The “Infrared” shade is one that’s not shown up too often on any other models besides the Air Jordan VI that it debuted on. Attempting to bring the color over to a new model is this new custom from Cali Kid Drew, one that throws that black/red blocking over onto the Air Jordan V. On top of that the typically icy blue sole is brought down a few shades for a smoky look. Another Air Jordan V “Grape” t-shirt has popped up over at Nikestore. The design has a sort of jersey feel to it, with the word “Grapes” across the top along with a 5 hit that picks up on a couple cues from the recent release like the side netting and the shark teeth on the bottom. While Carmelo Anthony himself seems to be more interested in the Jordan Melo M8 Advance at the moment, that hasn’t slowed the retail flow of the Jordan Melo M9. The latest version of the sneaker to show up is this, a black and neo turquoise colorway that sort looks like a “Black Grape” tribute. Is the whole hangtags on your shoes movement strictly a rapper thing? Ludacris just showed up as the second spitter this week to rock a brand new pair of Air Jordans with that little trinket still attached. Warner Bros appears to be one of the few entities to have had licensing rights to Michael Jordan’s likeness back in the day. Proving that is this vintage crewneck sweater, one from the Space Jam days. The front features a jumbo embroidered image of both MJ and Bugs Bunny, and the tag on the inside clarifies its status as a Warner Bros produced garment rather than a Nike one.
