Jordan Brand Dr. Drain Mens T Shirt

Remember the TV spots for Blake Griffin’s Jordan Super.Fly 2 last summer? The clever spots paid homage to Spike Lee’s Mars Blackmon commercials with Michael Jordan with a younger Dr. Drain pick up player who was so bad at shooting that his air balls were picked out of the air by Blake for unknown alley-oops. It looks like the Jumpman is bringing the character back as they released a new Dr. Drain t-shirt reading “I diagnose you with a defensive deficiency”. Hit the click for a full view and pick up the apparel piece via Nikestore today.

Jordan Super.Fly 3: “River Walk”

Jordan Super.Fly 3: River Walk

The Jordan Super.Fly 3 is headed our way in early October, but it already looks to be pairing up with the Air Jordan XX9 in terms of colorways. When Jordan Brand debuted Blake Griffin’s signature sneaker not too long ago, there was a pair featuring an array of purples and blues. The Air Jordan 29 “River Walk” features a similar colorway, and know we have confirmation that both pairs are a reference to the 1996 All-Star Game in San Antonio. And even though All Star Weekend is in the middle of February, this pair is headed to retailers much sooner – October 1st to be exact. Check out more images after the click and let us know if you’re feeling this colorway in the comments section.

Blake Griffin Talks Jordan Super.Fly 3

Blake Griffin’s Jordan Super.Fly 3 was officially unveiled yesterday, and while the sneaker started before Blake had signed to Jordan Brand, his presence immediately transformed the sneaker and gave it a longer shelf life thanks to the second iteration last year. Today a video surfaced of Blake talking about his off-season training regiment and eventually digressed into what he looks for in a shoe. Besides detailing that this was the first time his input was put to the test, Blake went on to say that he looks for a lockdown fit, he mentions the new Flight Web system as well as noting the difference between playing in a sneaker with the Jordan Flight Plate and playing in a sneaker without it. The Jordan Super.Fly 3 Debuts 7 New Colorways

The Jordan Super.Fly 2 was a mysterious sneaker leading up to its release last Summer, as it was seen as far back as the year prior at the All-Star game and then seemingly disappeared. The shoe proved to be a formidable playing shoe and was the unofficial signature of Blake Griffin for the predominant part of last year. Then the playoffs rolled around and things sped up once the Super.Fly 2 PO appeared. The third installment in the Jordan Super.Fly 3 takes a few cues from the playoff variety thanks to similarities on the heel support, tongue and inclusion of the Jordan Flight Plate. After an initial preview, today we get renderings of 7 upcoming colorways in a few catalogue shots. There’s the classic “Bred” look, an all black aesthetic, pure platinum and a curious magenta and yellow combo. Be sure to head to our gallery for a full rundown of the upcoming Jordan Super.Fly 3 and let us know if you’re excited about the return of the silhouette in the comments section.

A First Look at the Jordan Super.Fly 3

The Jordan Super.Fly 2 was an unexpected addition to Jordan Brand’s signature line-up of sorts, as it was championed by Blake Griffin throughout last season despite its debut occurring at the 2012-2013 NBA All-Star Game. The sneaker then transitioned to the Jordan Super.Fly 2 PO, one that saw a lower cut and added ventilation. Today we get our first glimpse at the Jordan Super.Fly 3, one that keeps the Jordan Flight Plate intact while the interesting lacing system gets revamped. An asymmetrical toebox contrasts the gradient upper while the heel is a noticeable hold-over from the playoff variation of the former model. What do you think of the latest take on the Jordan Super.Fly series? Be sure to check out a full look after the click and let us know if you’re excited about Blake Griffin’s third signature by penning your thoughts in the comments.
