The introduction of any new sneaker is going to elicit a mixed bag of responses. And with footwear design being the most risk-taking it’s been since the 1990s, the voices for and against are usually pretty strong. Jordan CP3.X is definitely one of those polarizing shoes. Low-profile, support wrap integrated with the midsole, minimalist. It may not be a shoe for everyone, but it’s everything its namesake Chris Paul needs and nothing he doesn’t.

Aside from the tuned specifications, the CP3 10 serves in a rather rarified position. The CP3 is one of only three basketball signature lines for Jordan Brand, Air Jordan and Melo included. Not even brand stars Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard have their own dedicated court shoes. That’s real cachet, and a strong indicator of Paul’s status within Jordan Brand and the NBA as an elite point guard.

Take a look at three upcoming colorways of the Jordan CP3.X below and let us know your thoughts.
