Spike Lee’s progeny Jackson Lee took to Instagram to show off this set, which includes one colorway that’s already been released and a trio of upcoming releases. The Jordan Brand Classic is more than just a set of basketball games. The event provides a complete experience for the young athletes participating, and for the folks who make it out to the day. The former group enjoyed plenty of Jordan Brand activities leading up to Saturday, including a private event with Spike Lee, a trip out to Melo’s native Redhook, and some training time with Team Jordan boxer Andre Ward. The latter group, those who populated the Barclay’s Center for Saturday’s trio of games, saw the in-game action boosted by the presence of celebs and athletes like Fabolous, C.C. Sabathia, Amare Stoudemire, Victor Cruz, and more. Oh, and did we mention that Drake ending the evening with a performance wherein he brought the All-Americans on stage to celebrate? Chris Paul’s stealthy moves are being celebrated in this new NBA commercial from their ongoing BIG campaign directed by none other than Spike Lee. That’s right, the sneaker that doesn’t even release till February. Of course the pair was made to match with the orange and blue, with two separate colored sneaks seen on Spike’s feet. This new set shows off the icy soles on bottom along with the little Jumpman icon hitting on the carbon fiber heel clip. At this point these have been labeled as a custom creation just for Spike, so there’s no word on whether or not a crazy mis-match like this could be coming to retail. Our vintage spot today showcases an OG piece of Air Jordan apparel that brings Spike Lee into the fold. The crewneck sweater shown sports a sort of ‘Grape’ looking colorway, the front and back featuring Mars Blackmon and Michael Jordan, respectively.
