Blake Griffin‘s offseason schedule included coaching the University of Oklahoma Legends Alumni Game over the weekend. It also included lacing up a pair of never-before-seen Air Jordans.
Griffin, a star at OU from 2007 to 2009 before becoming the number one pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, donned Air Jordan 11s with crimson patent leather to match OU’s primary school color. Aside from Clippers-coded colorways for the Jordan Super.Fly line, Griffin doesn’t often wear player exclusive Jordans.
The Air Jordan 11 makes sense, though – he’s stated that the legendary sneaker is his favorite Jordan retro for balling. What do you think of the “Sooners” AJ11? Should Jordan Brand release more Blake Griffin editions of Air Jordans?
