Remember when every team in the NBA didn’t go for a toned down navy and red look? The Atlanta Hawks were an example of trendsetting whether it was with their gradient 90s uniforms or their fire red and yellow look, and now the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG returns in an Atlanta Hawks scheme to honor Michael Jordan’s Slam Duck battles with ‘The Human Highlight Reel’ Dominique Wilkins. Today we get another look at the sneaker including an exclusive closeup of one of the shoe’s most interesting details: the textured print of blank film strips on the black sections of the upper. We also get confirmation that this shoe is a continuation of the ‘Formidable Foes’ series that Jordan Brand has been doing, following the Phoenix Suns and Seattle Supersonics. Head to the gallery for a better look and let us know if you’ll try to grab a pair come September 7th.
