Taking inspiration from the landmark Air Jordan V, the Jordan Spike Forty combines classic styling with Spike Lee‘s love of the game of basketball.
To build a shoe worthy of Lee’s connection to the game and to his role in Air Jordan history, Jordan Brand designers dug through Tinker Hatfield‘s original sketches for Air Jordan V. The resulting design shaped new ideas from the classic 1990 shoe into a modern look, adding touches like a textile and TPU upper, and a Phylon midsole with Zoom Air cushioning.
Jordan Spike Forty will release in four colorways, and become available to customize on NIKEiD (December 1):
Total Orange/Game Royal – October 28, 2015
Game Royal/Total Orange – November 4, 2015
White/Fire Red – November 18, 2015
Black/Fire Red – December 16, 2015
