It’s the 23rd anniversary of Michael Jordan’s fifth signature, and while it’s one of the most celebrated silhouettes in the Jordan Brand arsenal, MJ didn’t win a championship until his next model came out. Fortunately for fans though, the Air Jordan 5 has been celebrated enough this year with a plethora of viable releases and today we get our best look yet at the second installment in the Air Jordan 5 “3Lab5” series, this time taking a splash of the Air Jordan III “Fire Red” with an all murdered out elephant print while the Air Jordan VI is represented in infrared spirit. While a release date hasn’t been set just yet, the good news is that these are not in fact a custom but a shoe that will be hitting retail shelves in the future. The only question is, will you be grabbing a pair of these Air Jordan V’s for yourself? Head to the gallery for a better look and let us know in the comments.
