We have a fix for the demographic of sneakerheads turned avant bikers if there are any of you out there – FYXO recently created a cycling slip-on cover for your shoes that mimics the style of the classic Air Jordan 5. The look is similar to those socks that pop up on Nikestore featuring a printed aesthetic. Available in three classic colorways ranging from the Air Jordan 5 “Grape”, “Metallic Silver”, and “Fire Red”, the covers even feature a clever knock off of the Swoosh on the heel instead of the Jumpman logo. Air Jordan 5: “CP3″

July 14th, 2014 By

Air Jordan 5: CP3

Around last summer we started seeing previews of 2 Air Jordan 5s – one featuring a vibrant orange and a number 7 PE stitching for Carmelo Anthony, while the other pair featured a royal blue, red, and silver colorway for Chris Paul. It’s safe to say that neither pair will ever see a retail release (here’s to hoping some kind of 2025 retro of Mike’s fifth signature wields some sort of Pack) but until then the best we can do is look at each pair and imagine them on-feet. This Air Jordan 5 “CP3″ features a royal blue upper with red lining the sneaker and hitting the outsole. Silver shark teeth and a number 3 stitched on the heel panel match the tongue for a look anyone would be jealous of. What do you think of Chris Paul’s Clippers-themed Air Jordan 5? Stick with us after the click for more images and let us know if you’d pick up a pair if they ever saw a retail release.

Jordan Athlete Andre Ward Gets Air Jordan 5 Inspired Boxing Shoe

The way basketball models have been going as of late – we’re talking about the Air Jordan XX8 and even the Nike Kobe 9 Elite – seeing a boxer turn to a basketball brand for help in designing a boxing shoe doesn’t seem so far fetched. Jordan Brand athlete Andre Ward recently showcased his latest sneaker, and it definitely looks familiar if you’re a fan of the Air Jordan 5. The heel features the same stitching as Mike’s fifth signature silhouette, while the side mesh ventilation is relocated to the padded ankle collar. The sneaker gets a vibrant orange and black look which is sure to display on a television screen to turn heads for the brand. Longtime fan (and current NBA MVP) Kevin Durant recently received an autographed pair of gloves and the pair. What do you think? Hit the click for a full view and stay tuned for more PEs right here on JordansDaily.

Air Jordan 5: Metallic 1999 Retro Pair Autographed by Michael Jordan

The Air Jordan 5 “Black/Metallic” is as classic an Air Jordan retro as you can find, and even though they failed to get Mike into the promised land (he fell to the Detroit Pistons one last time while wearing this pair) they did feature that classic 3M treatment on the tongue and a translucent outsole that turned plenty of heads. Today we get a glimpse of a 1999 retro of the silhouette that includes the Nike Air branding on the heel. This pair even comes correct with a signature by the man himself making this a definite collectors item. Get a better look in our gallery and know that you can pick up this rare find via jrasfar on eBay.
