Victor Cruz has got a lot on his mind at the moment, as the wide-receiver is currently trying to figure out where he will spend his next NFL season. The Jordan Brand Classic is more than just a set of basketball games. The event provides a complete experience for the young athletes participating, and for the folks who make it out to the day. The former group enjoyed plenty of Jordan Brand activities leading up to Saturday, including a private event with Spike Lee, a trip out to Melo’s native Redhook, and some training time with Team Jordan boxer Andre Ward. The latter group, those who populated the Barclay’s Center for Saturday’s trio of games, saw the in-game action boosted by the presence of celebs and athletes like Fabolous, C.C. Sabathia, Amare Stoudemire, Victor Cruz, and more. Oh, and did we mention that Drake ending the evening with a performance wherein he brought the All-Americans on stage to celebrate? Victor Cruz of the New York Giants has been on quite a roll this year when it comes to his Air Jordan game, showing up again and again in a string of retros near and dear to the hearts of the sneakerhead community. His selections also suggest a penchant for the OG colorways, with the lineup thus far never straying from that category. Well folks he’s at it again, as the Superbowl champion was recently spotted enjoying the Nets/Clippers match-up in the Air Jordan V ‘Metallic’ that found its way back into stores in Summer 2011, with the silvery aspects brightening up his all black outfit just a bit. Is New York big enough to handle Derek Jeter, Carmelo Anthony and Victor Cruz? The star receiver of the New York Giants was seen sitting courtside at the Knicks game earlier this week where he wore the recently released Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’. The undrafted receiver out of UMass helped the Giants clinch a playoff berth and NFC East Championship against rival Dallas this past Sunday. Although he did not make the Pro Bowl, if he keeps up his hot streak, the Giants could find themselves playing on Superbowl Sunday in Indianapolis this February.
