Rip Hamilton Challenges You to Grab as Many Air Jordan Retros as Possible

June 17th, 2014 By

Richard Hamilton has such a report at Jordan Brand even after exiting the league that he’s giving sneakerheads nearby a chance to grab as many retros as they can actually carry – but there’s a twist. Let anything hit the floor or fall out of your hands and then everything you once thought was rightfully yours stays with the NBA Champion. So how many would you opt for? According to Rip, the record rests somewhere below twelve pairs, but his friend in this picture is attempting what’s never been done before – cross the threshold with thirteen pairs including the Brazil Pack and the Air Jordan 7 Hare retro (rumored to return in 2015 as a part of the silhouette’s 23rd anniversary). Get with us after the click for a full rundown and be sure to stick with Jordans Daily for all your Jordan Athlete news.

Rip Hamilton Showcases “Championship Cigar” & More Air Jordan Pick-Ups

May 6th, 2014 By

The NBA Playoffs are well underway, but there’s something sad about not seeing Rip Hamilton curl off screens and hit mid range jumpers seemingly all in one fluid motion. While his days in Detroit are long gone as are the days of him as a roll player on the likes of squads like the Chicago Bulls, that hasn’t stopped Rip City from still securing the latest Air Jordans as he took to Instagram to show off his latest pick ups. Ranging from the Air Jordan 6 “Championship Cigar” (a shoe he could’ve used during his winning ways with the Pistons), Hamilton also showed the new “Dark Concord” Jordan 6-17-23 and an upcoming Air Jordan 2. Stick around after the click to see Richard Hamilton’s latest Air Jordan pick ups and let us know which pair was your favorite by penning your thoughts in our comments section.

Rip Hamilton Showcases New Air Jordan 2 Colorway

March 31st, 2014 By

The NBA playoff race continues to pick up its pace, but it feels like something is missing without the sharpshooting bench tendencies of Richard Hamilton. And while his UConn alma mater just made it to another Final Four, Rip was feeling charitable so he dropped a preview of what could be another upcoming Air Jordan 2. Featuring a “Raptors”-like inspiration the shoe has a wolf grey upper featuring Safari print on the toe and ankle support. Add in a purple accent on the midsole and laces with a red speckle and the shoe definitely brings a new twist to MJ’s second silhouette. What do you think of this brand new colorway atop the Air Jordan 2? While we don’t know if these will see a release date anytime soon or whether they’ll stay a sample (a similar fate goes for that “Night Shade” Air Jordan 2) you can check out a full video of the sharp shooter showing off this pair and let us know if you’d pick them up if they ever see retailers.

Richard Hamilton Shows Off Jordan Future

February 24th, 2014 By

It’s that time of year when championship contenders start adding veterans to their benches. With Richard Hamilton sidelined by an injury for the past couple of months, could we see the man behind the mask return to a teams’ lineup before playoff time? While that remains an uncertainty, we can always be sure that Rip will have the latest and greatest from the Jumpman, as he recently showcased his pair of the Jordan Future in the 3M and Infrared scheme. Be sure to stick with us after the click to see Richard Hamilton in this upcoming Jordan Future pair and let us know what you think of this brand new woven silhouette for Jordan Brand by writing your thoughts in the comments section.

Richard Hamilton Showcases Air Jordan 11 Retro Collection

January 21st, 2014 By

It’s safe to say that we definitely miss Rip Hamilton and his ability to maneuver around screens for that beautiful midrange jumper, but as a sneaker fan many also miss tuning into games to see what retro pair the shooting guard is lacing up. While currently in limbo of signing with another team after the All-Star break for the veteran’s minimum to give an added spark off the bench of fully retiring, Richard Hamilton has nothing better to do than practice and organize his insane collection of Air Jordans. He recently took to his Instagram to post a few Air Jordan 11 retros and while none of them are PEs, the lot does cover some serious ground ranging from this holiday’s Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue” all the way back to the Air Jordan XI “Space Jam” (we see that yellow sole too, Rip). What do you think of his Air Jordan 11 stockpile? Hit the click for a full image and let us know your opinion in the comments.

Air Jordan XX3: Rip Hamilton “Pistons” PE

October 23rd, 2013 By

Even though MJ got rid of him halfway through his time with the Wizards, Richard Hamilton still has an enviable Jordan connect and has stuck with the Jumpman throughout the entirety of his NBA career in the same way that he still wears the protective mask when he plays. While he’s currently on the Chicago Bulls (which doesn’t make for that many exclusive PEs) the sweet-shooting guard did have plenty of custom models sent his way during his heyday back in Motor City. Today we get a glimpse of an Air Jordan XX3 model that features a white base while royal blue and red accents hit the signature stitching. Hit the gallery for a better look and if you’re truly feeling this pair pick them up today from innovative_shopping_concepts on eBay.

Air Jordan VIII: Rip Hamilton PE

May 29th, 2013 By

Rip Hamilton’s player exclusive game seems to have slowed down quite a bit since his arrival in Chicago. Then again, maybe it’s more a signifier of Jordan Brand’s slower PE policy at the moment, as they don’t seem to be doling out retros with quite the same frequency. Shown here is a pair from his Detroit Pistons days, an Air Jordan VIII colorway that comes with the standard “Rip City” hit on the side. Continue reading to see more and then see how much the Air Jordan VIII player exclusive went for from faredalways on eBay.
