The Air Jordan XI “Concord” is one of the rare MJ models that sported his #45 instead of the #23. Of course, the 45 wasn’t available on any of the retail pairs, instead showing up on various samples across the years. Your favorite boisterous Southern DJ has one of those special pairs, as DJ Khaled recently decided to show off his “Concord” Air Jordan XI featuring the #45. Nicki Minaj’s recent tour stop in Miami was bound to be a big deal, with the city being a hip-hop hotspot that her YMCMB labelmates have adopted as a second home. Spotted in DJ Khaled’s behind-the-scenes video of his upcoming music video was a new colorway of the Jordan Son Of Mars. It features a true ‘Bordeaux’ color profile with the dark grey and black upper and bordeaux wine red lace and yellow Jumpman on the tongue. Placed among a group of impressive upcoming Summer 2012 Jordan releases, it is likely that this Son of Mars will touch down something within the next few months as well. Hot 97′s annual Summer Jam concert recently took place at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ and the celebrities as well as Jordans were out in full force. Cash Money Records artist DJ Khaled was rocking the Air Jordan III ‘Stealth’ which doesn’t come out until September. In another case of having a sneaker that hasn’t released yet, Harlem rapper Vado was spotted wearing the Air Jordan VII ‘Cardinal’. Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa were seen rocking favorites in the Air Jordan IV ‘Cool Grey’ and Air Jordan VI ‘Infrared’ respectively. Ed Lover of the “C’mon Son” series broke out the Air Jordan IV ‘Laser’ for the legendary Summer Jam and Fabolous went through the shoe collection for the Air Jordan III ‘Flip’. The Air Jordan VII ‘YOTR’ stole the show backstage as Justin Combs brought them out for the show of which his father Diddy performed at.
