When Air Jordan 31 debuted in September, the introduction revealed that Tate Kuerbis’s design had done something particularly skillful. It had bridged Air Jordan 1’s simplicity with modern materials like Flyweave and new construction. The result is a balance fusion that opens up seemingly unlimited colorway possibilities. Air Jordan 31 “Supernova” is the latest example.

Stark concord purple is meshed with bright mango orange for ideal gradient effect, while the ever-present Swoosh is included to light effect. An orbiting logo on the tongue backs mark the inspiration, while the bold Jumpman logos provide a contrast.

Air Jordan 31 “Supernova” is slated for a December 24th drop, adding yet more Jordan Brand goodness to the Christmas and holiday shopping scene. Take a closer look below and stay tuned for more updates on this colorway.
