Spike Lee‘s Jordan Brand-gifted gold-leafed Air Jordan 6 “Oscar Edition” joined him on stage at the seventh annual Governors Awards in Hollywood on Saturday, as the director accepted his lifetime achievement Oscar.

After accepting the award alongside Denzel Washington, Wesley Snipes and Samuel L. Jackson, Lee took a seat stage right, comparing the shiny gold finishes of the award and sneakers for the camera.
