Though Kanye has moved on to supposedly greener three-striped pastures with adidas, the legacy of his Nike Yeezy line has maintained hot appeal amongst the sneaker community. And if there’s one colorway that sums that appeal, it’s the “Blink” look that cemented Yeezy 2 as a must-have and spawned dozens of custom look-alike Air Jordans, Air Maxes, LeBrons, Dunks, and others. Looks like that Black/Black-Solar Red style is meeting up with Jordan Son of Mars for a release later this year.

This photo shows how “Blink” can be executed on the SoM – blackout leather, red trim highlighting the lining, green (neon, in this case) along the sole, with stealth grey running the midsole. Can’t be a direct interpretation, after all.

So, how do you think they turned out? We’ll keep tabs on release info and any further details.
