Though St. Patrick’s Day is one week away from tomorrow, the Bulls had to celebrate it tonight at home against Memphis (no more homes until 3/18). In trying to match some special sneakers to his team’s kelly green uniform, Bulls interim starting point guard Aaron Brooks found a way to incorporate his alma mater by lacing up the Air Jordan XX9 “Oregon Ducks” player exclusive. The sneaker’s silver, yellow and scant green colorway managed somehow to coordinate instead of clash with the sleeved threads, no doubt thanks to their common use of green and gold. Brooks, who played for the Ducks from 2003 to 2007, scored 15 points in his collegiate kicks but the evening ended with a 101-91 Memphis victory. Did Aaron win anyway? Give us your thoughts on his Ducks kicks below.
