October 2014 Jordan Brand Releases

Another month is in the books for Jordan Brand’s 2014, which means we’re back to give you a full look at the next one. October will be an interesting one for the Jumpman, as they’re balancing their performance side of things in the Jordan Super.Fly 3 (with four new colorways debuting on the first of the month) alongside the Air Jordan XX9 in a festive “Riverwalk” colorway to pay homage to the 1996 NBA All-Star Game in San Antonio. Air Jordan XX9: “USA” PE for Maya Moore

Would we have seen this Air Jordan 29 earlier had Russell Westbrook taken part in the 2014 FIBA World Cup? This Team USA rendition in an alternate red base is definitely a solid look, as it features that blown up Jumpman logo on the side while navy plays an accent role on the laces and lining. Maya Moore even showcased the “Home” variety featuring a red outsole as the women’s team gets ready for their own FIBA tournament. What do you think? Air Jordan 29: “Riverwalk” – Release Date

The Air Jordan XX9 “Riverwalk” is headed to retailers on October 11th. The Air Jordan 29 made some news upon first release and even surprised us with the announcement that a new colorway will release alongside the much anticipated Air Jordan 11 “Pantone” in the Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack. We’ve been seeing a teal and magenta colorway hit a number of Jordan Brand silhouettes, from the Jordan Super.Fly 3 to the Jordan CP3.VIII, but now the 1996 San Antonio All-Star game reference will be landing on the Air Jordan XX9. The look is one of the brightest yet for Mike’s latest signature sneaker, as Fusion Pink and Tropical Teal cover the upper in a vibrant elephant print. What do you think? Air Jordan “Ultimate Gift of Flight” Pack

The Air Jordan 11 “Pantone” will in fact be releasing. The coveted Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” won’t be the other patent leather gem to arrive at store shelves this holiday season, as the Air Jordan 11 featuring that UNC-like aesthetic will debut alongside a new Air Jordan XX9 in the Jordan Brand “Ultimate Gift of Flight” Pack. The Air Jordan 29 looks a lot different than initially expected, as it features that alternate color blocking featuring elephant print throughout. We’re still waiting on a release date, but expect this pack, rumored to be set at the price of $500, to arrive somewhere around the Holidays. We all know that the Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” is finally returning under the new title of the Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue” for this year’s Holiday 2014 release, but could another patent leather gem be in the works from Jordan Brand? We’ve been seeing previews of the Air Jordan 11 “Pantone” for quite some time, but the most recent news is that the shoe could accompany an Air Jordan XX9 featuring a similar UNC-theme (think Russell Westbrook’s playoff PEs) for a late December release just in time for Christmas. Another Look at Maya Moore’s Air Jordan XX9 “Team USA” PE

The USA Men’s National Team took home another gold medal at this year’s FIBA World Cup, but the women’s team is currently busy practicing between showing off their skills in the USA Basketball Showcase to get ready for their shot at bringing home a championship at the FIBA Women’s World Cup in Istanbul Turkey later this month. Jordan Brand Athlete Maya Moore will be on the final roster, and she’s been lacing up two new Air Jordan XX9 PEs that feature red, white and blue in full glory.
