It’s still difficult to place the Air Jordan 6 “History of Jordan” into a category of what they’ve come to represent in the Jordan catalogue. Details remain far and few on this red leather pair, one that seems to take inspiration from the Jordan Spiz’ike thanks to the print on the inner lining, but that’s where the similarities end. And while rumors have swirled around being a reference to Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule film production company, the logo is missing in action while it is usually featured on other pairs referencing Mars Blackmon. So, besides the red and green coming together, a Spiz’ike callout remains the only thing we have pinned down to this pair, but we can’t say the sneaker doesn’t look good.
