The Air Jordan 6 is returning in a brand new colorway to honor the 2014 World Cup, and as surprising as that might sound, Jordan Brand has been all about expanding it’s reach beyond the hardwood so taking a pair of retros and bringing them to the spotlight for another sport makes some sense. The pair features a colorway in a nod to the host country of Brazil featuring green and yellow accents atop a both nubuck-esque and leather upper. This pair will be releasing after all as well, as a Football (that’s soccer here in the states) media event in Madrid, Spain had the pair on display. There’s still no word yet on a release date, but you can expect these to drop sometime around the mid-June start date of the World Cup alongside a yet to be announced second pair.
