Air Jordan 1: “Atlanta Hawks” – Release Reminder

The Air Jordan 1 “Atlanta Hawks” will release this Saturday, September 7th. Jordan Brand has been dishing out some great Air Jordan 1 releases through their ‘Formidable Foes’ series that flashes back to some of MJ’s most intense rivalries through giving the teams that made him such a great competitor their own colorways on Low and Mid models alike. Recently an Atlanta Hawks iteration popped up, but what sets this model apart besides the fact that it appears on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG model is the film strip texture on the black color blocking in a nod to Dominique ‘The Human Highlight Reel’ Wilkins – MJ’s multiple year Slam Dunk Contest rival. The rest of the shoe is hit with a ‘Bred’ look with the addition of a vibrant university yellow.
