When Michael Jordan returned to the game of basketball in 2001, it sent a shock wave throughout the world of sports. Many were happy to see the G.O.A.T throw on a jersey and show that he still had it. By the end of his tenure with the Washington Wizards, Michael showed that he could still play at a high level, but many thought that his return tarnished his legacy. During his first season with the Wizards, Jordan wore the Air Jordan XVI, the first shoe not designed by Tinker Hatfield since the III. Michael wore this player exclusive that was slightly different from the retail version. It features a full white upper in addition to having copper accents throughout the outsole to match the Wizards’ uniform. Check out more of this Michael Jordan player exclusive after the jump and head over to the auction from ekhchan86 on eBay.
