The Air Jordan XI is among the most popular and sought out Jordan signature models out there. Tinker Hatfield designed the XI with the intent for both performance and style. In 2001, the Air Jordan XI was released as a low-cut model which was more true to the XI’s original design than the Air Jordan XI IE Low. This latest sample to surface shows us what could have been if leather had been used instead of the XI’s patented condura nylon. This AJ XI Low ‘Zen Grey’ sample is very similar to the version that dropped at retail but unlike the version that released we see a leather upper and tongue with the Jumpman logo embossed on the tongue for a very different shoe. Other elements such as the trademark patent leather, translucent sole and ‘Jordan Jumpman’ tongue tag all remain. Check out the additional images of this leather sample after the jump and let us know if you would cop a nylon-less XI. via qkro23 of eBay.
