This Fall Release Brings A “Kobe” Air Jordan To Retail For The First Time

Kobe Bryant would’ve made the ideal Jordan Brand athlete. No other player has come as close to mirroring Michael Jordan’s work ethic and will to win as the Lakers legend. But Kobe is Kobe – a superstar for most of his 20-year NBA career, worthy of his own sneaker stardom, and certainly deserving of any player exclusive sneakers Jordan Brand and Nike can dream up. This Air Jordan 9 is a fine example. Jordan Brand put together a version for Kobe way back in 2003 with his number 8, but they never sniffed a retail release. They fix all of that with a number 23 version headed your way in November. Will this be the first of many Kobe Jordans to come? Stay tuned for more updates.
