The next Air Jordan XXX to hit shelves takes a quick trip back to the mid ’90s. It was then that Michael Jordan‘s “Black Cat” nickname had taken hold among his NBA peers, aptly describing Jordan’s cunning, stealth approach on-court. As the story goes, Tinker Hatfield picked up on the idea on his own, which led to his work designing big cat-inspired Air Jordan 13. The legend persisted in subsequent years with blacked out colorways on select Air Jordans, which is where this XXX picks up the narrative. Release is slated for April 16th.
