While P.J. Tucker has been a Nike Basketball adherent for much of this season and last, sporting Kyrie 1 and selections from Kobe’s line, he’s not at all adverse to lacing Air Jordans.
Which is good. Judging from the Phoenix Suns swingman’s latest Instagram post, he apparently has taken delivery of Air Jordan 12 OVOs from “Champagne Papi” himself, Drake.
The Suns are in Drake’s hometown of Toronto tonight for a match with the Raptors, providing Tucker – a rookie with the Raps in 2006-07 – the ideal venue to rep the Jumpman and Drake. And perhaps an impending retail release.
While we’ll have to wait a bit to see what Jordan Brand wants to do on that last front, you can check P.J. in action tonight with the Suns at Raptors game if you have either squad’s local broadcast feed.
