Yes, the Air Jordan Spike Forty GS will hit stores in the blue-based “Knicks” colorway and, yes, it will have the Air Jordan 5 sole. Yesterday’s first glimpse at the “Bordeaux” GS revealed the sole switch for smaller sizes, a sharp difference from the adult look. Including this particular sole on the GS also pretty much confirms the Spike Forty’s design is based heavily on Air Jordan 5, a shoe that released in the heart of Spike Lee‘s turn as Mars Blackmon from 1988 to 1991. Look for the Spike Forty hitting independents over the next week or so. Enjoy the preview here and let us know what you think in the comments.
