In case you missed out on the Air Jordan 1 “Varsity Royal” in 1985, in 2001, and again in 2013, the fresh black and blue colorway is circling back again in October. But this time it’s a tad bit different, as Jordan Brand is trying it out on the 1 Low OG template. So what’s the difference? They’re lowtops. That’s it. Everything else translates, from the colors, to the logos, to the leather and nylon. A whole host of Jordan Brand doors will have these on October 7, but you may want to plan now. This is a prime candidate to cross over with skaters, an appeal that dates back to the first Jordan 1 in ’85. Let us know if you’re picking up a pair.
