Today is the day in two ways – the Mitchell & Ness Michael Jordan “Shrug Game” jersey releases today, and today is exactly 23 years to the day that he dropped that performance on the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals. Mitchell & Ness is commemorating the moment in high style with a virtual stitch for stitch re-creation of MJ’s threads, including the original mesh construction, screen printed letters and numbers including the old school player name font, and the black memory band that honors late Bulls employee Sheri L. Berto.
The “Shrug” jersey is available now at Upper Deck Company, NBAstore.com, NBA Store 5th Avenue NYC, Mitchell & Ness Flagship Store, and the Chicago Bulls Team Store at the United Center.
Get a quick look at some of the jersey’s details below – as well as a video refresher of MJ performing the shrug in Game 1 – and for more of our Jordans Daily exclusive “Shrug” photos, click here.
