Derek Jeter is currently playing his last MLB season, one that the wild card Yankees would like to end with a lengthy playoff run. Behind Michael Jordan, Jeter is currently the longest tenured Jordan Brand Athlete, and in honor of his last go-around, Jordan Brand has unveiled their latest “RE2PECT” campaign. We’ve seen a few t-shirts drop baring the word with Jeter’s signature number 2, and now we get a full fledged commercial, one that features New York staples throughout tipping their cap to the infielder. From Jay-Z to Queens rapper Action Bronson, Michael Jordan to current Knicks signee Carmelo Anthony, and even some Boston Red Sox fans, Jeter’s greatness is undeniable and worthy of a nod.
