Jordan Brand will celebrate the Year of the Horse with a brand new Jordan Melo M10 colorway releasing tomorrow, February 8th, 2014. The shoes ditch the normal synthetic upper in lieu of a premium black leather look that definitely does the seamless upper justice. And while the Jordan Melo M10 is fairly new to the public, it’s seen its fair share of special edition models already and this scheme is definitely one of the more interesting releases yet. The toebox and tongue get an array of swirling patterns in Infrared 23, Red Violet and Deep Royal Blue to give it a festive aesthetic while the left foot ditches the Jumpman logo on the tongue for the Chinese symbol for the zodiac calendar year. As for the metallic baseplate on the heel sporting that cursive ‘Melo’, Jordan Brand skips over the normal iridescent scheme for a surprising matte black look that fits the shoe well.
