The Air Jordan XX8 turned a lot of heads when it first released with its synthetic upper ditching traditionalism in lieu of a zipper front that let the sneaker don an endless amount of textures, patterns and even at times perforations. But beyond the unique upper, the Jordan Flight Plate technology allowed the shoe to be incredibly lightweight yet supportive enough to be a top-tier performance basketball model. Today we get a glimpse of the upcoming Air Jordan XX8 Lite that takes the flight plate and ditches the zipper for a hyperfuse upper reminiscent of the Jordan Super.Fly 2. This particular model gets the all black treatment with matching carbon fiber heel support while gold accents, although minimal, standout on the Jumpman logos.
