The clever spots paid homage to Spike Lee’s Mars Blackmon commercials with Michael Jordan with a younger Dr. Drain pick up player who was so bad at shooting that his air balls were picked out of the air by Blake for unknown alley-oops. Jordan Super.Fly 2 PO: Gym Red – Challenge Red – White | Available

Sure, Blake Griffin’s latest Jordan Super.Fly 3 has already been unveiled and is slated for an October 1st release, but that doesn’t mean that the playoff iteration of his last signature has slowed down. The Jordan Super.Fly 2 PO was featured on Blake’s feet up through the second round until the Oklahoma City trounced his Clippers squad, but this all red pair will definitely turn heads on the blacktop this summer. Last week, Nike unveiled official images of Blake Griffin’s Jordan Super.Fly 3, a sneaker than continues the lineage of the lightweight performance model with the Jordan Flight Plate and plenty of breathable mesh to improve the lockdown fit. And while we have to wait until October 2014 to grab a pair, the Jordan Super.Fly 2 PO continues to get new colorways in the meantime. With an all red look, the medial side gets a contrasting dose of white. The Jordan Super.Fly series will see its third installment shortly, but that doesn’t mean that the playoff version of the sneaker – the Jordan Super.Fly 2 PO – has been retired just yet. Blake Griffin’s unofficial signature got a makeover for the post season that saw a redesigned heel and slimmed down silhouette with added hyperfuse-like mesh and returns today in a Thunder-like black and yellow or a tonal Cool Grey. The silhouette takes a lower approach than the original, and arguably had the largest transformation of any of the sneakers featured in Jordan Brand’s “Playoff Pack”. Today’s look will bring back memories of the early 2000 Raptors thanks to a dark concord base that gets accented by a black heel plate and infrared 23 branding. Foot Locker Planning Huge Jordan Brand Restock for Final Four Weekend

With Final Four Weekend upon us, both Jordan Brand and Nike will make their presence felt (as if sponsoring three of the four teams remaining in the tournament wasn’t enough influence by the Swoosh) by restocking Foot Locker shelves with a number of 2014 Retro releases. Ranging from two of the Air Jordan 10 pairs in the “Venom Green” and “Powder Blue” original, the All-Star Game collection and the infrared variations of the Air Jordan 6, this weekend will surely be something you won’t want to miss out on if you’re in the greater Dallas area for the games. Note that the restocks will be available only in-store on not online. April 2014 Jordan Brand Releases

Jordan Brand continues its strong 2014 with another month of enticing Retros with new colorways and a number of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul signatures to ready the All-Star players for the playoffs. It all starts this coming weekend with two “Birmingham Barons” releases in the form of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG and Air Jordan 9 to honor Mike’s time away from the hardwood during his brief sting as a AA-baseball player. The month will also see the return of the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 17 hybrid in the Jordan 6-17-23 in an infrared look. To round things out for the month, we’ll see our first Air Jordan 11 Low which means summer is on the horizon with the “Green Snake” Air Jordan 11 Low. Which pair is your favorite? “St. Patrick’s Day” Jordan Brand PEs

Jordan Brand is all about celebrating the holidays through special edition player exclusives, and St. Patrick’s Day is no exception. With the luck of the Irish on their side, Jordan Brand athletes laced up some festive green pairs last night, ranging from Blake Griffin and Chris Paul’s Jordan Super.Fly 2 and Jordan CP3.VII respectively featuring a forest green and silver look to the Jordan Melo M10, and two pairs of the Air Jordan XX8 SE all displaying green and orange on the uppers in a more obvious call out to the Irish flag.
