Vintage Gear: Air Jordan VIII Retail Display

In yesterday’s vintage gear, we brought you a look at a t-shirt from the initial “Hare Jordan” campaign that featured the Looney Tunes alongside Michael Jordan. After the hugely successful ad took flight for that year’s Super Bowl, Jordan Brand re-upped their contract with Warner Brothers for one more year to help promote the Air Jordan VIII. We all know that after coming back from his retirement, Mike made the jump to Hollywood with the help of his furry friends to give us Space Jam. Today’s piece is a rare retail display for the Air Jordan VIII still in-tact and in great condition, featuring a life-sized Mike grappling with Marvin the Martian while a similarly outfitted Bugs hangs out.
