Vintage Gear: Hare Jordan T-Shirt

When initially presented with the idea to cross promore the Looney Tunes with Michael Jordan’s new Air Jordan VII, many were uncertain about whether the two could co-exist and successfully market MJ. We all know how that turned out: one retirement later and a smash hit with the movie Space Jam, and we’re still seeing an endless supply of vintage gear from the film. Today’s vintage piece is a gem from the pre-Space Jam era in which MJ shares the back of the t-shirt with Elmer Fudd while the silhouette of Bugs Bunny in the Jumpman pose dons the front with the text ‘Bugs Bunny in Hare Jordan’ to mimic old movie titles.
