Air Jordan 7 “Barcelona Days” Official Release Info

April 18th, 2015 By

The next Air Jordan 7 Retro up for grabs takes Jordan fans to the site of the 1992 Olympics, where Michael Jordan and the Dream Team’s gold medal-winning performance made history. Dubbed “Barcelona Days,” this colorway “takes inspiration from the culturally rich city of Barcelona” with vibrant turquoise blue and orange set against a “Bordeaux” like tonal grey background. Early photos of this edition carried a “Bobcats” nickname to explain the seemingly shared accent colors with the Charlotte Hornets’ former identity. Get the numbers and official photos for this release right here, releasing one week from today on April 25.

Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” Official Release Info

April 17th, 2015 By

The Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” has carried that nickname from the earliest leaked photos of the shoe. But the Nike product description takes a different tack on the colorway: “The black upper features pops of Court Purple, Bright Citrus and Light Retro inspired by what these April showers bring.” So, Nike’s saying May flowers are the theme, not Bugs Bunny‘s gal and not Hare Jordan related. That’s not the only thing officially different about this release – it’s been bumped from this Saturday, April 18 to Friday, April 24. Check the official Nike images below and stay tuned for more coverage here at Jordans Daily.

Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” Releases April 18th

April 13th, 2015 By

Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” is back to keep the Hare Jordan retro tour rolling in 2015. She first popped up on the Air Jordan 1 GS on April 4 in an earthy Easter mix of tan and pink but now it’s back to the bright pastel shades that were so popular back in 1992, when Air Jordan 7 first released. Black leather and nubuck gives way to purple, turquoise, and orange highlights along the beltline and on the sound wave style fit sock pattern.

Jordan 7 Hydro “Hare” – Spring 2015

April 3rd, 2015 By

In recent seasons, Jordan Brand has reintroduced some of its best-loved signature sneakers in slide sandal form, or Hydro as they’re officially known. There have been Air Jordan 7 inspirations, some of which are available now, but none have captured the original White/Light Silver-True Red “Hare” colorway until now. Looks like Jordan fans will have that option, as photos of a Jordan 7 Hydro “Hare” have surfaced. The colorblocking more or less follows that of the sneaker – white leather, Afropop graphics, with the added bonus of Hare branding including the Jumpbunny logo on the heel. Keep your eyes open for the Jordan 7 Hydro “Hare” and additional Jordan sandals at select retailers now.

Air Jordan 7 Retro “Hare” Unboxed & Up Close

March 29th, 2015 By

The Jordan retro releases are heating up as spring and summer approaches, and one of the centerpieces of that release schedule is undoubtedly the Air Jordan 7 “Hare.” First released in early 1992 and then as part of the Air Jordan VII/XVI Countdown Pack in 2008, the shoe that has become known the world over as the Hare Jordan – because Bugs Bunny wore this colorway in the first Hare Jordan commercial while Michael Jordan took the “Bordeaux” shade – is back to celebrate 23 years since Bugs and MJ teamed up. The 2015 release coming up in May appears to re-create the leather and Durabuck look of the original, as well as the white, silver and red colorway that hasn’t aged a bit. We’ll continue to monitor this shoe with new photos and any new info as it develops running up to the May 16 release date. Share your Hare Jordan memories with us in the comments and stay tuned to Jordans Daily.

Air Jordan 7 “Bobcats” – New Photos

March 26th, 2015 By

Is this Bordeaux-esque Air Jordan 7 inspired by Michael Jordan’s former Charlotte Bobcats? While that’s a distinct possibility due to the shared turquoise and orange accenting, there’s been no official word just yet. What we do know is that this shoe plays on the light-dark Bordeaux colorway template, making use of what looks to be Durabuck instead of nubuck – a welcome addition for retro purists.

Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux x Bugs Bunny x Bobcats?

March 24th, 2015 By

Admit it – you thought “Bordeaux” at first glance of this Air Jordan 7, followed by some form of bewilderment at the turquoise and orange accents. While those accents also served in the team colors of Michael Jordan’s now-history Charlotte Bobcats, we’ll have to have the engravers hold off a bit on an official nickname until more of the story unfolds. Could this be a Hare Jordan-related release? After all, there’s an Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” due up on April 18, the Bugs Bunny “Hare” on May 16, and 1992 All-Star “Bordeaux” edition on July 4. Hmm. In any case, feel free to peruse this shot and speculate away on the inspiration in the comment section.
