Dez Bryant Seeking Advice from Michael Jordan and Chris Paul

Since inking a deal as a Jordan Athlete this past offseason, Dez Bryant showed improved judgement in the branding category-but we will all have to wait and see if that will translate onto the field this upcoming season. And it just might after Bloggingtheboys has reported that Bryant transformed into a Cowboys’ leader at the demand of Michael Jordan and Chris Paul. Bryant’s close adviser, David Wells, tells the story of Bryant’s relationship with the two NBA stars.

But Wells said Tuesday that (Michael) Jordan and Bryant speak by phone twice a week and exchange text messages on a regular basis. He also said that Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul has been instrumental in Bryant’s development.

“They almost treat him like a little brother,” Wells said. “Dez started listening to older people instead of the young guys. Those guys are both married and have stable lives. And that’s something Dez craves.”
