The New York Yankees are one game away from postponing their quest for 28 championships until next season as the Detroit Tigers took a 2-1 lead in their series last night. Yankees ace and Cy Young contender C.C. Sabathia, didn’t have his best stuff last night as he allowed four runs in 5.1 innings worth of work. Sabathia took to the mound in Game 3 after throwing 25 pitches in a rain delayed Game 1. C.C. wore the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ cleat before he was pulled by manager Joe Girardi.
