Jordan Brand’s latest inspirational ad campaign is here, a spot called “This Is Where It Starts” that sort of dovetails into the #RISEABOVE movement they’ve been working on. The short clip follows two young athletes from their earliest basketball obsessions, imagining future stars first getting into the game via this year’s Olympic basketball. The clip is set to debut tomorrow during the Team USA match against Lithuania but we’ve got the full piece right now after the jump. Jordan Brand brings things back home for this edition in the Rise Above documentary series, taking a look at an urban basketball program in the heart of Chicago, a city important to the company for obvious reasons. The clip details the B-Ball on the Block program, a youth outreach event that brings portable hoops around to set up for a day of community play and competition. Jordan Brand’s latest piece in the inspirational Rise Above series of shorts zooms in on rural China, telling the story of a tour guide who stumbled upon a decrepit court tucked away in a mountain village. The discovery then leads to a grassroots push to refurbish the court, outfitting the community with something more proper with which to hone their skills and celebrate the game. The Jordan Brand #RiseAbove campaign is officially going on tour. This summer the team is hitting the road in the decked out truck pictured above (peep the Jumpman Mercedes style hood ornament), making stops from Los Angeles to Washington DC. On board is a retail experience centered around the all new Jordan Super.Fly, with digital vertical-leap sensors to see just how high you can rise and some free Jordan swag to be had. As of today Jordan Brand is launching the Rise Above documentary series, a string of short clips that journey around the world to focus on players who have beat the odds all for the love of the sport of basketball.
