NCAA Feet: December 30 January 2, 2012

The conference play portion of the college basketball season kicked off just before the ball dropped and we were treated with some good games before and after 2011 came to an end. Syracuse continued to assert their dominance in the NCAA as they made quick work of DePaul to keep extend their winning streak to 15 games and keep their #1 ranking. As is the case every year when these two teams play, Louisville and Kentucky didn’t fail to excite as Russ Smith and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist stole the show in Rupp Arena. In addition to the theatrics this past weekend, we saw a good range of sneaker heat such as Tony Wroten’s ‘Concord’ to the and player exclusives worn by Marquette and Cal respectively. NCAA Feet: Games of December 17 20, 2011

Some of you may have been wondering where our posts were last week. With finals taking place at universities throughout the country, most schools didn’t schedule games at all that week or just one game period. They got back to regular play during the weekend as we saw the nation’s top teams go at it. Syracuse showed why they were the #1 team in teh nation, but #10 Marquette and #11 Kansas were upset by unranked opponents. The games over the weekend didn’t disappoint and neither did the kicks on court as we saw the Air Jordan XIV ‘Last Shot’ and the ‘Bred’ in action just to name a few. NCAA Feet: Games of November 30, 2011

Its hard to believe that the first month of the college basketball season is over, but it is. The month ended in the right way as we got a marquee matchup between the Wisconsin Badgers and North Carolina Tar Heels as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Tar Heels won in a narrow fashion to avoid a fate similar to that team 10 miles away in Durham. In addition to the stars on court for their respective teams, the kicks worn shared the spotlight as we saw the Air Jordan III ‘Black Cement’ to a player exclusive version of the Jordan CP3.IV. Last night we saw two of the premier conferences in the country matched up against each other in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. One of the matchups in the series of games was one of the year’s most anticipated games as the Duke Blue Devils and Ohio State Buckeyes faced off. The Buckeyes led by Aaron Craft and Jared Sullinger sent the Blue Devils back to Durham with their tails in between their legs as they were soundly defeated. In addition to the games played, some players went through their personal rotation and we see saw kicks ranging from the ‘Stealth’ to the Air Jordan XX ‘CDP’.
