NBA Jordans Daily: Marcus Morris Puts Up 11, 11 & Air Jordan 11 Cool Grey

March 22nd, 2015 By

If it weren’t for jersey numbers, we might not be able to tell Marcus and Markieff Morris apart. They even wear the same sneaker many times, focusing on the Nike LeBron line and old school classics like the Foamposite One. On occasion one of the twins will jump into something unfamiliar, as Marcus did on Sunday night with the Dallas Mavericks in town. Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” hit the court, a fitting complement to the Suns’ white, orange and grey home uniform. Number 15 added 11 points and 11 rebounds to his team’s 98-92 win, a must-have as the Suns try to catch Oklahoma City for the West’s final playoff spot.

When it comes to Jordan retro sneakers, nearly half of the Toronto Raptors roster could stand and be counted. The team’s high impact players Amir Johnson, DeMar DeRozan and Terrence Ross each have repeatedly run in Jordan Brand sneakers like Air Jordan III, XIII, even XX over the last couple of seasons. Kyle Lowry has dabbled as well. But there’s another, much less talked about Raptor who has matched these guys in sneaker heat and that’s James Johnson.

NBA Jordans on Court: The Best of the 2013-2014 Pre-Season

October 29th, 2013 By

The NBA season kicks off tonight with some marquee match-ups, but this pre-season served as a commemoration to players’ need to wear the freshest kicks on the planet. The league is now loaded with young talent, and players proved that they are more sneaker savvy than any previous generation. The likes of unknowns like Quincy Miller brought out the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Greys”, Air Jordan III “True Blues”, and of course the Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo 23″. The Pistons and Raptors renewed a Central Division rivalry as well by seeing who could rock the better Retro Jordan. While signature athletes will start wearing their new models (or will Melo still lace up the Jordan Melo 1.5 Retro he wore throughout these exhibition games?) we now know who to be on the lookout for in terms of role players. So hit the gallery to get a full recap of the very best Air Jordans worn during the pre-season and be on the lookout for all of our Jordans on Court coverage for your 2013-2014 NBA season.

NBA Jordans on Court: Weekend Recap – 4/12 – 4/14

April 15th, 2013 By

There’s pretty much no dispute as to who had the nicest Air Jordan wear over the weekend this time around. Derrick Williams of the Timberwolves blew us all away by bringing out the chromed out Air Jordan IV “Oregon Ducks”. And while the wear doesn’t make a ton of sense college-wise given that Williams is an Arizona alum, we definitely respect his sneaker game on this one. Click through for Derrick Williams in the Air Jordan IV “Oregon” and a ton more wears from the weekend in this NBA Jordans on Court episode.
