The release comes as a rather quiet one, with Jordan Brand oddly not spinning much fanfare around its arrival despite putting quite a bit of stock into the Jordan Super Fly proper earlier in the year. After the unveiling of the full range of 2012-13 Air Jordan PEs for Marquette, Jordans Daily is back to give you a look at the same for other longtime Jordan Brand school Georgetown. Included are the same models-the Jordan Super Fly, Air Jordan 2012 Lite, and Jordan Aero Flight, with this collection ended up just a bit smaller with one less pair of the Aero Flight. You already saw the Jordan Super.Fly colorway that Marquette was outfitted with recently for their Carrier Classic match, but there a handful of other specialized Air Jordan releases crafted for that school that you can see their NCAA athletes rocking this season. Also included are the Air Jordan 2012 Lite and the Jordan Aero Flight, each one sporting a slightly different combo from the university’s palette. We’re serving up Air Jordan heat from the NBA for you on the regular, the last couple days of NBA action filled with plenty of sightings from retro to sig to the peripheral Jordan Brand models. Marquee names Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony (pictured above) went with the Jordan Super.Fly and the Jordan Melo M8 Advance, respectively, with dudes like Jeff Taylor and Dominic McGuire holding down the retro front. As it turns out, Georgetown isn’t the only Jordan Brand school to get a special pair of the Jordan Super.Fly for an upcoming game, Marquette also getting a slick digital camo version. Both feature a never before seen icy treatment on the bottom, with the schools’ respective logos planted under the translucent look. The Georgetown Hoyas will be one of a handful of NCAA Basketball teams to play in a carrier classic to open the season, battling it out on top of the USS Bataan-doing so wearing this special version of the Jordan Super Fly. Like the other non-Jordan player exclusives whipped up for the series of games, the sneakers put on a digital camo look for the upper to match the military setting. It looks like Jordan Brand just might have reigned in another young NBA star for their already impressive roster, Blake Griffin making his 2012-13 NBA debut with the Jordan Super.Fly on feet. Such an acquisition would be huge for Team Jordan given that they’ve already got Chris Paul out there with the Clippers carrying their flag, with the other half of the Lob City equation only furthering their influence in the area.
