The saga that is the 2012 NBA Playoffs continues, and with that we continue to keep our eyes on the court for any and all Air Jordan sightings. Jordan Brand’s big three continue to make use of their assorted post-season colorways, leaving it up to other athletes to bring out the retros, which did indeed happen with some sightings of both the Air Jordan III and the Air Jordan XII. Yep, the official shots keep pouring in. You didn’t think we were going to bring you all those updates and leave you hanging for the month of June did you? Of course not. June is looking right with a couple slip on models styled after upcoming retro releases for the warm weather, one of the more exciting Air Jordan 1 Phat drops we’ve seen in a while, a continuation of the Jordan Melo M8 at a time when Anthony will likely be enjoying some down time (sorry Knicks fans), and a host of other goodies. The 2012 NBA Playoffs have arrived, and we’re getting a look a the Jordan Brand action out there as promised. As to to be expected the Big Three each laced up their signature sneakers, leaving the rest of the league to get a bit more creative with their selection. Jared Jeffries certainly did that, adapting with the Air Jordan IV ‘Cavs’ as a close match to his Knicks uni. Elsewhere the Jordan Play in These II and the Air Jordan X ‘Stealth’ made up a good number of our sightings with multiple players in each. As the Jordan Brand Classic goes down this weekend you can expect the kicks on court to be all-things Jumpman. The main event will of course feature some special colorways of the Air Jordan 2012, but even today’s practice sessions have the players laced up in pairs to match their respective team colors with these two versions of the Jordan Play in These II. The sneakers are marked as a general release for April on the Jordan Brand calender, but are likely inspired by the JBC given the obvious color comparisons.
