Jordan Melo M8 Advance

The New York Knicks didn’t put the together the most successful post-season bid this year, losing nobly in the first round to eventual champions the Miami Heat. Had they stayed around though you might have seen a bit more Jordan Brand action on court, with Wade’s elimination leaving Melo’s sneakers to shine. Speaking of which you’ll recall he never made the transition to a separate playoffs model like last year, and as a result we’re just now getting wind of said model: the . Check out the images that include a couple ‘Knicks’ colorways, a ‘Legion of Doom’, and one paying tribute to Melo’s home turf of Red Hook, Brooklyn. Gives us your thoughts on the Advance below and stick with Jordans Daily for possible release info.

USA vs. Spain – Mens Basketball Gold Medal Game

Another gold is in the books for the United States, with our squad of NBA greats proving themselves a cohesive unit throughout the 2012 Olympics in London and shattering many opponents along the way. NBA Jordans On Court: May 9th 10th

The first round of the NBA Playoffs lined up in such a way that one of Jordan Brand’s marquee names had to fall to another. The one to go down was of course Caremlo Anthony along with his New York Knicks, falling to Dwyane Wade and the Heat in a series that saw their two signature sneaks put to work in their post season colorways. Jordan Melo M8 Low

Is the low-cut version of Carmelo Anthony? Ok that’s probably a stretch by any means of the imagination given the distance between them in play style, but at the very least his sneakers represent a chopped down approach to Melo’s Jordan Brand sig. Shown here is the Low, a style we’ve not seen outside of this small set of mostly Knicks-flavored player exclusives made for Bibby himself. Hit the jump for a better look and stay tuned for word on whether the Low will ever make it to retail. Photos: Mike Bibby
