Jordan Brand and Carmelo Anthony Celebrate 10 Year Anniversary with Special Signature Collection

January 6th, 2014 By

Earlier today we showed you the coveted Air Jordan 10 “Pantone” that was a part of the 25 pair collection, and while Jordan Brand is no stranger to special edition collections, rarely do we ever see a collection of non-signature Jordans as expansive as this iced-out Jordan Melo curation. Taking all ten of Melo’s signatures, Jordan Brand continues to honor the tenth anniversary of the Melo partnership. Interestingly enough, Jordan Brand tips its hat towards Melo’s earlier years in Denver for the predominant part of this pack as all but three shoes feature that white and university blue scheme that were so relevant to Melo PEs. Stick with us after the click to view all of ten of the pairs and let us know which one was our favorite in the comments.

Jordan Melo M8 Advance

August 30th, 2012 By

The New York Knicks didn’t put the together the most successful post-season bid this year, losing nobly in the first round to eventual champions the Miami Heat. Had they stayed around though you might have seen a bit more Jordan Brand action on court, with Wade’s elimination leaving Melo’s sneakers to shine. Speaking of which you’ll recall he never made the transition to a separate playoffs model like last year, and as a result we’re just now getting wind of said model: the Jordan Melo M8 Advance. Check out the images that include a couple ‘Knicks’ colorways, a ‘Legion of Doom’, and one paying tribute to Melo’s home turf of Red Hook, Brooklyn. Gives us your thoughts on the Jordan Melo M8 Advance below and stick with Jordans Daily for possible release info.

NBA Jordans On Court: May 9th-10th

May 11th, 2012 By

The first round of the NBA Playoffs lined up in such a way that one of Jordan Brand’s marquee names had to fall to another. The one to go down was of course Caremlo Anthony along with his New York Knicks, falling to Dwyane Wade and the Heat in a series that saw their two signature sneaks put to work in their post season colorways. Along with the Jordan Melo M8 and Jordan Fly Wade 2 EV the rest of our sightings have a similar contemporary lean, with players perhaps switching out the retros for more modern performance based models. Jordan Melo M8 Low

May 7th, 2012 By

Is Mike Bibby the low-cut version of Carmelo Anthony? Ok that’s probably a stretch by any means of the imagination given the distance between them in play style, but at the very least his sneakers represent a chopped down approach to Melo’s Jordan Brand sig. Shown here is the Jordan Melo M8 Low, a style we’ve not seen outside of this small set of mostly Knicks-flavored player exclusives made for Bibby himself. Hit the jump for a better look and stay tuned for word on whether the Jordan Melo M8 Low will ever make it to retail. Photos: Mike Bibby
