There was even more to look at though, as today we get a look at 27 of Mike’s signature sneakers outfitted in a white-based Chicago-esque colorway in a great exhibit that shows the progression of the line. Air Jordan XX3: “White/Gold” Sample

August 13th, 2014 By

The Air Jordan XX3 definitely held more weight than the post-playing models simply based on numeric order. The signature silhouette sported Mike’s main jersey number of 23 so Jordan Brand knew that they had to do something special amidst speculation that the shoe could’ve been the last shoe with a number attached to it. And while we all know how that worked out (we’ll see the Air Jordan XX9 next month) this Air Jordan XX3 “White/Gold” Sample definitely stands out. The DNA treatment on the side panels get a gold flake feel while the unique midsole sports the metallic sheen as well. What do you think? The brand didn’t disappoint either, giving us one of the most detailed, performance ready models since Mike’s final retirement. With DNA stitching on the side panels, and one of the most unique midsoles to arrive on a sneaker, the pair definitely turned heads. One of the most anticipated releases was the Air Jordan XX3 “Titanium”. The pair was incredibly limited, but we have a feeling this sample is even more rare. Air Jordan XX3: “Chicago” – Michael Jordan Autograph Available on eBay

March 19th, 2014 By

The Air Jordan 23 had to be a memorable silhouette for the Jordan signature series given the number that it represents, and JB didn’t disappoint with an intricate design that looks to hold up through the test of time. While sneakers like the “Titanium” edition and “Finale” were reserved for incredibly limited releases (the Air Jordan 23 “Titanium” alone would only see 529 pairs) today we get a look at a very special “Chicago” pair. The shoe that features the colorway of the Bulls in a Home aesthetic may have released in a wider rendition than the aforementioned pairs, but with Mike’s signature, this is a rare find to say the least. Hit the click for a better view and grab it today via worldofstarsplus on eBay.

Air Jordan XX3: 2008 NBA All-Star Game PE

December 1st, 2013 By

Ah, the limitations of branding. While we’re all fans of Jordan Brand and MJ’s recent announcement that he’d like JB to produce all of the upcoming Charlotte Hornets apparel, unfortunately that looks unlikely with the three-stripes controlling the licensing on all NBA merchandise currently. And it looks like that was the case for this Air Jordan XX8 “All-Star Game” PE from the 2008 games hosted in Chris Paul’s former New Orleans squad’s arena. With a classic ‘Bred’ scheme (these must’ve been given to some players on the West squad – whether it was Carmelo or CP3 remains to be unknown) the logo hits the tongue and inner lining of the sneaker. Hit the gallery for a better view of this rare find and grab them today from phyuck_yo_kixx on eBay.
