That would be the Air Jordan XIII “He Got Game”, the black and white colorway so named for its infamous appears in the flick of the same name. In an incredible act of charity, XX8 Days of Flight winner Franaldo Hanna (@throwuponyaself) decided to do the auction thing, giving away the entirety of the proceeds to the St. Judes Children’s Hospital charity fund. Purists avert your eyes, as we’ve uncovered some Jordan Brand trainer samples that take some serious liberties with the Air Jordan XIII shape. The dimples across that sneaker’s top are transformed into little perforations, with the sweeping panels still echoing the design of that MJ shoe. So far we haven’t seen them on a release time-table, but that doesn’t entirely rule out a retail release. The Air Jordan XX8 Days of Flight winners have received their pairs, as all twenty seven of the special one-off sneakers are starting to pop up across social media. After all, who wouldn’t want to show off the fact that they were selected to win some of the one of a kind sneakers? The Air Jordan XIII was a model that never ended up putting on the university blue and white UNC-style look at retail (We’re gonna say this pair didn’t have enough blue to qualify). Perhaps the closest it’s ever come to that happened here, on the Air Jordan XIII “Pantone”. Sneaker customizer Mache has built up quite the rolodex, as athletes and superstars of all caliber are currently calling on the man to whip up some special sneaks. The Chicago Bulls’ own Nate Robinson commisioned a whole set, including an Air Jordan XI, Air Jordan XI, and two pairs of the Air Jordan XIII. All of the sneakers sport various black and red “Chicago” make-ups, so hopefully we’ll see them on court soon.
