Which Air Jordans Should Metta World Peace Wear?

Metta World Peace is in Italy and he’s going to wear some Air Jordans. But which ones? The “Panda’s Friend,” who has had stints in sneaker brands PEAK, BALL’N and his self-sourced stuffed panda kicks in recent years, says he hasn’t worn a pair of Air Jordans for the better part of 10 years. From his Instagram video, it looks like World Peace’s Jordan options for the time being are Air Jordan 5 “Laney” and White/Black-Fire Red, and Air Jordan 10 “Venom Green.”

Worn by MJ during the 17 regular season games he played after his “I’m Back” announcement in March 1995, this classic colorway features all of the design details seen on the original, including the Bulls color blocking and stitched 45 jersey number on each ankle.

If it weren’t for jersey numbers, we might not be able to tell Marcus and Markieff Morris apart. They even wear the same sneaker many times, focusing on the Nike LeBron line and old school classics like the Foamposite One. On occasion one of the twins will jump into something unfamiliar, as Marcus did on Sunday night with the Dallas Mavericks in town. Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” hit the court, a fitting complement to the Suns’ white, orange and grey home uniform. Number 15 added 11 points and 11 rebounds to his team’s 98-92 win, a must-have as the Suns try to catch Oklahoma City for the West’s final playoff spot.

A virtual replica of the white, black and red “Chicago” colorway Jordan wore during that game and throughout his 17 games to close the 1995 regular season, this bringback features white and black tumbled leather, red trim on the career accolade stripes built into the traction and inside, and drops in the famous 45 jersey number on the side.
