It’s pretty slim on retros-the Air Jordan 1 is the only one showing its face so far. Looks like there’s a black and red Air Jordan 1 coming this summer. Before you get too excited you should know that it’s an Air Jordan 1 Mid in a brand new colorway, not the “Banned” look that you may have been thinking about when you first red that sentence. Another colorful Air Jordan GS style has been spotted. That would be this, the Air Jordan 1 Mid done up in a pink and platinum combination. The shoes have already shown up over at Titolo in Europe, meaning it shouldn’t be too much longer until they start to do the same at US spots. The Air Jordan 1 has been pretty concerned with the OG looks in 2013. This summer the sneaker looks to keep things in the lane, albeit pulling an OG look from the Air Jordan III rather than donning one of its own. Said look would be the “True Blue” combination, one that lives on here via the red, white, and blue blocking and the elephant print. The Air Jordan 1 has been a model especially prone to pick up looks from its legacy series brethren in 2013. Not adapting quite as many details as some of the hybrid styles we’ve see, this Air Jordan 1 Mid is instead content to just borrow a colorway. We’ve seen the Air Jordan 1 take inspiration from the Air Jordan IV, Air Jordan VIII, and Air Jordan XIII so far in 2013. Is there any chance it will do the same with the Air Jordan III? Coming close is this upcoming colorway, one which sports a very “True Blue” looking upper along with some elephant print touches around its back half. The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Lakers” is at long last available. As the sneaker hits retail we’re getting a little bit of a better look at it, which includes an interesting graphic hit on the insole. There’s a little camera icon there, one that perhaps alludes to the Hollywood scene that the Lakers are surrounded by (If this sneaker was indeed designed with LA in mind).
