“Cactus and Clay” Air Jordan 6 PEs for Macklemore

October 21st, 2014 By

Macklemore stays winning. Besides all of the Grammy hardware he took home, the man has a fairly strong Jordan Brand connect as his past Melo M10 PEs showed a strong calling for monochromatic looks. Now Macklemore got his shot at two brand new Air Jordan 6 looks, each using what they’re calling a flooded suede in Cactus and Clay colorways. The all green cactus was initially thought to be a callout to his Evergreen state of Washington while the Clay features a more Chicago-centric flare. Stay tuned for more Player Exclusives right here on Jordans Daily and let us know what you think of these contrasting suede Jordan 6s in the comments section.

September 29th, 2014 By

Would we have seen this Air Jordan 29 earlier had Russell Westbrook taken part in the 2014 FIBA World Cup? This Team USA rendition in an alternate red base is definitely a solid look, as it features that blown up Jumpman logo on the side while navy plays an accent role on the laces and lining. “Hoyas” Air Jordan 1 from 1985

September 24th, 2014 By

Michael Jordan conquered Georgetown, and his shot was so iconic that the UNC rival eventually suited up wearing the Jumpman logo in later years. But apparently Mike’s willingness to represent the Hoyas dates back to his first signature sneaker as this Air Jordan 1 from 1985 features the Hoyas colorway and the team name written on the ankle support. We know about the Nike Terminator featuring the school’s look, but information remains rather sparse on this pair. What do you think? Check out more images after the click and let us know what you think of this Georgetown referencing pair in the comments section.

An Air Jordan 7: “Cardinal” PE Made for Bugs Bunny

September 23rd, 2014 By

Michael Jordan’s affiliation with Bugs Bunny and company dates back before the days of Space Jam all the way to when he was marketing his Air Jordan 7. The Warner Bros. partnering with the Looney Tunes turned out to be a fairly successful one, but the bid for a feature length movie had to be shelved after Mike hung up his signatures for the minor leagues. Bugs Bunny PEs, those cartoonish yet real-life depictions of MJ’s signatures featuring a Hare Jordan logo are super rare, but do exist – just check out this Hare Jordan 7 “Bordeaux”. Today we get a look at another style in this Air Jordan 7 “Cardinal”. Check out this rare find after the click and stay tuned for more Player Exclusives (although they’ll probably be in humanoid form) right here on JordansDaily.

September 22nd, 2014 By

The all red sneaker craze is nothing new. Brand after brand has doled out enticing offers of their new and old silhouettes alike donning the vibrant yet monochromatic red finish, but when Jordan Brand does it, it’s always something special. Sure, this look at numbered retros from the Air Jordan 1 all the way to the Air Jordan XX8 isn’t going to be offered at retail shelves anytime soon, but we can still fantasize about which pair we would wear if ever they did. Check out more images of the enticing all red offerings from Niketown Chicago after the click and be sure to let us know which pair you’d wear in the comments section.

Drake Gives Another Preview of His Air Jordan 3 “6IX” PE

September 18th, 2014 By

Drake’s next album already has a ton of hype surrounding it, and it even has a title, Views from the Six, in which the rapper pays homage to his time growing up in Toronto. Not one to be shy about his Canadian roots, the newly inked Jordan Brand family member even has the 6IX stitching (a reference to the different area codes featuring the number) on his latest creation – an all metallic gold Air Jordan 3. While we’re sad to hear the news that Jordan Brand plans on putting Mike’s third signature back in the vaults for the foreseeable future, it will only add to their legacy, and the news makes this Air Jordan III exclusive all the more, well, exclusive. What do yo think of the sneaker? Hit the click to see the OVO/Toronto callout and stay tuned for more PEs right here on JordansDaily.
