The model we’d previously billed as a lite version of the Air Jordan XX8 appears to be on its way. Two things to note with this new set of images showing off the shoes: first the official name is the Air Jordan XX8 SE, second these particular looks won’t see a release until as late as next February. Coming back for March 2014 is the Air Jordan X in white/dark powder blue/black. The OG colorway is one that Jordan Brand skipped out on during the sneakers’ last retro run, but they’re apparently opting to treat us to them come next year. Like the Air Jordan VI retro we told you about this morning, there aren’t photos to be had just yet, but you can bet that Jordans Daily will be the first place to have them when they pop up.

The Air Jordan VI “Infrared”, the one featuring the white base, will release again in February of 2014. Given how far out that date is there are of course no actual images of the sneaker to be had at the moment, but a style number does indeed exist. Next year will be the 23rd anniversary of the design, so it doesn’t exactly come as a big surprise to see the sneakers back around. The pair had a strong connection to the likes of the UNC palette, with the original print ad featuring the pair also featuring Michael Jordan wearing a jersey from said school. MMG rapper Wale apparently rolled through Flight Club in NYC a few weeks back to purchase “Threes for the whole team”. Yep, he went into the world famous sneaker consignment shop and bought out every Air Jordan III that they had. This quick video captures the trip, and also features Wale giving some insight as to the significance of the shoe to his upcoming album The Gifted. JBF Customs’ next crazy “Incomparable” python pair of Jordans looks to be dropping ahead of the retail pair its inspired by. The teasers all but confirm an Air Jordan IV remix with his signature look based on that of the upcoming Air Jordan IV “Fire Red Nubuck”. Alright so Maya Moore didn’t break out that latest Air Jordan XX3 PE for yesterday’s birthday game as promised. She did do the player exclusive thing via another model though-the Jordan Aero Mania.
