After the initial retro run in 1999/2000, Air Jordan 4 “Cool Grey” helped usher in the second wave of Air Jordan 4s in late 2004. The grey nubuck, maize yellow, and white/black accents made the shoe an instant hit, a rep that has only grown in subsequent years. With the upcoming return of Air Jordan 4 “Pure Money” (May 13th), Jordan Brand may be taking another look at these mid-’00s AJ4 retro colorways for re-release.
